Race for Every Child 5K DC

Back where there was warmer temperatures, our alumnae chapter teamed with American's Gamma Delta Chapter to run the Race for the Every Child 5K in DC.  They did a WONDERFUL job and raised almost $6,000! We had a blast celebrating…too bad it was so hot that I ran a horrible race, but at least I finished :)

And CRAZY, Ezra from Pretty Little Liars was there too!!! Apparently Ian raised almost $7K for the race as well! I didn't personally see him, but lots of girls from the chapter did! Man, I wish I had stayed around afterwards.

Minneapolis, MN

Man, I have A LOT of catching up to do! Posts that should have been done in November are just getting done in January. I guess that just means I've been having TOO MUCH fun and been too busy to type up a blog post.

I flew to Minneapolis in October to attend the Out & Equal Conference for the second year. I had an AMAZING time!!! But damn is Minneapolis freaking COLD. And it was only October/November… I can't imagine how cold it is in January!

Anyways, here is my Minneapolis trip as detailed in pictures….

Um….apparently this is how they spell Amber in Minneapolis….

Did you know Mary Tyler More Show was set in Minneapolis? Well, now you do because there is a statue of her downtown

Not sure why there were stars all over this wall, but of course I had to take a picture

Charles Schultz was born in Minneapolis, so there was a park with his characters

The Star Tribune

Downtown Minneapolis

I randomly stumbled upon this office!

Happy New Year!

2014 is shaping up to be quite an awesome year for me. New job and location are in the works (wish me luck!) and of course all my normal awesomeness. I normally make myself goals for the year, but this year so many new things are happening, I don't even know where to begin. So instead, I'm just holding on for dear life as things change. Here's to a fantastic and adventuresome new year!
