San Rafael Farmers Market

On my last visit to San Fran, the B man and I visited the San Rafael Farmers Market in Marin County. This is a gorgeous little (well, big) market where all the local farmers come to sell their fare. This place gets PACKED. If you're going to go, get there before 8am, otherwise you'll be driving around trying to find a parking place!

It is a BIT pricey, but considering Marin County is a bit richy rich, it doesn't surprise me!

Here's a bit more about the market:

San Rafael downtown Market brings delicious food, local music, and diverse downtown businesses together to create a family-friendly environment where you can eat healthy food, enjoy the arts, and support small businesses. With a strong local presence the San Rafael Market has been contributing to the community for over 20 years. Coming together and enjoying Marin's perfect summer season has become a staple for San Rafael and neighboring cities.

It was a bit chilly at 8am, but we grabbed bundled up a Blue Bottle coffee (seriously SO GOOD) and walked around and sampled the local fare. By the time we left, there were cars circling the parking lot looking for a parking spot. Then I spotted this….

Um…..WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!?!! WHY would you do this to your car?!?!?!

So much fresh everything! Too bad I don't eat seafood!

Chicken. Chicken. And more chicken!

There's even a little area set up so you can enjoy the food you just purchased!
